Who is responsible

Visiting the website

The website is hosted by Simply.com A/S in Denmark. Every visit sends the technical details any browser sends: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's details. Our hosting provider processes these to deliver the website and keep it secure. We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Fonts, images and videos come from our own server.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies for visitors. The city and admin portal sets one cookie, and only after authorised staff sign in: it keeps them signed in, and is deleted when they sign out or close the browser. The session also ends after 2 hours without activity, and after 12 hours at most.

Maps

The maps on the mosquito-density page and in the portal load their map tiles from OpenStreetMap, run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation in the United Kingdom, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.

The contact and quote form

• What we collect: your name and email address, and what you choose to tell us — your organisation, country, expected number of catch basins, required delivery time, catch basin dimensions and your message.
• How it reaches us: the form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form service run by Devro LABS, which emails it to us. FormSubmit offers no data processing agreement and does not say where it processes data; its own privacy policy applies to that service. If you would rather not use it, email us directly at contact@zikaseal.com.
• Why: to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before any contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us (article 6(1)(f)).
• How long: we keep your message for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry and any cooperation that follows from it, and then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@zikaseal.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.

What this app is

ZikaSeal Error Report is used by authorised personnel to report faults with ZikaSeal mosquito-blocking inserts installed in road drains. Everything below describes what the app records when you file a report.

What we collect

• Photos you attach to a report.
• The location of the drain the report refers to.
• Your IP address, for security and logging.

How we use it

• Plot reported faults on a map that only authorised personnel can open.
• Let field teams track, prioritise and close out problems.

Who can see it

Reports are visible only to authorised personnel. Nothing you submit is published or shared outside that group.

Security

Data is held on secured servers behind access controls. No system is completely secure, so we do not claim otherwise.

Staying signed in

When you sign in to the portal, a cookie keeps you signed in while you work. It is deleted when you sign out or close the browser, and the session ends after 2 hours without activity, or after 12 hours at most. It is not used to track you and is not shared.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date above changes with it.
